Ask!
- By Deb Erickson -
I am so glad we found each other! I’ve spent my life asking for you. That’s right, you! I have been searching for those special people who are searching for more; more energy, more vitality, more courage, more hope, more light, more love, more joy, more abundance, more of everything great that life has to offer. People like you who are willing to do whatever it takes to transform your life and make of yourself what you know you can be. People who are committed to be the change they wish to see in the world. People like you who want to play more, enjoy life, have lots of fun, and make a difference in the world. I have been looking for playmates on this grand adventure.
You have come to the right place. Bringing Back the American Dream is a movement to support you as you find and live your purpose. I will be your coach, helping you discover your personal passion, create a vision for your life, and then give you the tools necessary to accelerate your growth and create lasting change. We are committed to walk the path of personal transformation with you. To support you as you pursue your dreams.
Living the life of your dreams is about knowing what you want and settling for nothing less than all you have asked for. Step one is that you must ASK. That means get clear on exactly what you want in life. Oprah Winfrey said, "You get in life what you have the courage to ASK for."

#1. Ask and you SHALL receive. It just doesn’t get any clearer than that. Most of us don’t have the courage to ask so we don’t receive. What might happen in your life if you could ask for exactly what you want? Is it really possible to transform your life by simply asking? Let’s try it. Take a few minutes right now to ask for something you want.
If you could have it your way, what would you ASK for? Take a few moments, pull out your journal and just start asking. When you say, "I want a new Lexus," you are asking. When you say, "I want to find the love of my life," you are asking. Start a list and see if you can get a bit outrageous. Let’s see if you can come up with 100 things you want and have the courage to ask for. If you get stuck, read Oprah’s quote again… "You get in life what you have the courage to ASK for."
#2. Get into the energy that MATCHES what you have just asked for. You can’t ask for success and then spend the day complaining. You have to be a match to what you want. Fake it until you feel it if you have to. Stop complaining, stop worrying, stop gossiping, stop whining, stop feeling jealous or fearful. You must choose to match the energy of your dreams. Get happy, appreciate what is working, find a reason to smile, talk about things that make you laugh, surround yourself with positive people who believe in you.
#3. Get moving. You always feel better when you are on the move. Sitting still allows fear and doubt to take hold. When you are living a life full of purpose, you are in the flow of powerful energy that supports you in building your confidence and belief. Get out and participate in life. Take a walk, get to the gym, go to a concert, join a club, volunteer for your favorite charity, get involved in the lives of others, or just take your dog for a walk. When we move, we feel alive. When we give to others, we blossom. When we live a life of purpose, our dreams are on their way.

My dream is to help other entrepreneurs and business leaders become more conscious about how they conduct business, and how they relate to others. Business is all about relationships, and the more conscious we are about how we enter and maintain our relationships — the more effective we are in business. I am blessed to do work I love — coaching and training businesspeople. I will expand my influence through publishing my work about Self-Responsibility which teaches how our choices and the way we make those choices and live with them impacts our lives. I have tremendous passion for helping others become more self-aware, and improving their lives by empowering themselves. Each time one of us breaks through fear, the rest of us move a bit closer to breaking through also. When we are conscious, our work becomes our play. I look forward to dreaming with some of you out there — dreaming and playing — dreaming and playing." Shauna Rampley
"My dream is about Freedom Here and Now. Rather than wait for "someday my life will be better", my dream is set in the present: to be free of self-imposed limitations; to be free to continue doing what I love; to be free to make a contribution to others; and to be free to live a joyous, responsible life." Dan Gerry
"My dream is to make a significant contribution to the raising of physical, mental and spiritual vitality and consciousness of humanity so we can collectively ensure not only the survival of our species and planet, but actually THRIVE as one…to co-create a better world for our children and our children’s children…to refresh our memory of WHO WE REALLY ARE, from where we can live and attract consciously, rather than by default…starting right at home, in our bodies and family with the basics of shifting our physiology through effectively releasing what doesn’t serve us, and replenishing/nurturing what does…in body, mind and spirit."
