Day 33: It’s a Rocky Road!

The path to our dreams may get a little rocky at times!

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt like the weight of the world was on your shoulders or that you were dealing with what felt like more than your fair share of challenges? Well I have!

Every time I get feeling like POOR ME, life always seems to give me an experience that helps me get things back into proper perspective. Today it was this short 6 minute video.

33 days ago I committed to bring back MY American dream and to document that journey on this blog site. Since making that decision I have been crazy busy traveling around the country doing radio shows and meeting with business leaders and entrepreneurs who want to be a part of bringing back the American dream.

33 days ago I didn’t just make a decision to change.
I made a decision to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to make a change!

The first 33 days have been both exciting and frightening. Over the past couple of weeks I have received some tough criticism, been concerned about time away from my family, and had an overwhelming feeling of responsibility to all those who are joining our movement. But, I have a lot to be grateful for too.

Like Daryl Markham, I lost my brother just a few short years ago. At 6pm on June 12, 2003 I received a phone call informing me that the plane carrying my brother, and my father, had gone down in the mountains of Idaho. My Father had died on the scene and my Brother had been flown to a hospital in Boise where he passed away several hours later.

My brother was my best friend and my greatest cheerleader. He always encouraged me to follow my dreams and to never give up. Like Daryl, I decided to follow my dream. Like Daryl, I feel my brother’s presence as I go through the tough times. My brother had 6 children. His oldest son is Cameron. Cam is helping me follow my dream. He is the designer of this blog site. Our Father, Brother, and Best Friend, may be gone but the DREAM LIVES ON!!!

We have much to be grateful for.

We are all going to have challenges in our lives.

That’s how we grow.

Celebrate the challenges!
Learn from them!
Then keep moving forward.

Remember, you’re on your way UP!”

Until next time… keep moving!
