The Power of Dreaming

dreams
The ability to dream is one of the most powerful forces in the Universe. Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” No one would question the success of Walt Disney, but it was not just his creative mind that you should be inspired by. It was his ability to bring to life even the wildest of dreams. No dream was too big for Walt.
Look at the quote again and notice that it begins with the REAL secret to living the life of your dreams. His quote begins with the word If, that’s right, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” If you can’t dream then you are stuck in your currently reality.

So how is your current reality? Do you have everything you want? Do you have the time freedom to do what you love to do? Do you have the financial resources to experience all the adventures life has to offer? Are you experiencing physical vitality at its optimum level? Do you feel hopeful and empowered about your future and the future of your children? Are you bringing your unique abilities, creative genius, and personal gifts to the world? Are you living in a relationship that nurtures, supports and enriches your life? Are you engaged in work that fills you with a sense of purpose?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then it’s time to stop looking at the reality of today and begin dreaming about the possibilities of tomorrow. You knew how to use your imagination as a kid until some well-meaning adult told you to get your head out of the clouds and focus on REALITY. Perhaps a teacher, coach, parent, or even your own nagging doubts convinced you that your dreams were unattainable.
Albert Einstein, perhaps the most brilliant thinker of our time said, “Imagination is more important that knowledge.” He knew that knowledge is based on our past, but imagination is the vehicle that will create our future. It is time to get your head back in the clouds and start dreaming again.
