1 Million American Dreams
1 Million American Dreams by the end of this year!
Please leave a description of YOUR personal American Dream below.
We believe that if one million of us unite by publically proclaiming our individual American Dreams, that our collective energy and support can create an unstoppable tidal wave of success. In addition, we will provide the tools and resources necessary to make those dreams become realities. Once we have accumulated the million dreams we will use their collective power to get the attention of the media, the politicians, and all those who can support each of us in creating the change necessary to BRING BACK THE AMERICAN DREAM.
Divided we fall, but united we always STAND tall!

To live not with what we see as horror. Yet to let our lives, become our dream. For us to live, be and stand as one, not as seperate nations, but as one whole world. As a whole human living, relying, on each other, with the beat of a heart, to the sound of our voice. We are the people, we are 1.

Seed a Need is a cause that I started to encourage people to go out and help other people. It is similar to the Pay it Forward movement but the card system I developed will not only serve as a reminder but also allow users to track their good deeds online to see how many people they potentially help just by helping one person. It is simple and easy and anyone can participate to help make the world a better place just by doing nice things for others. It doesn’t matter how big or how small your act of kindness is, it could be the start of a string of good deeds that could eventually touch the lives of millions of other people. So get a card, think of a deed and go out and Seed a Need!

I have a dream it is called loving thy neighbor. My dream is called America and Americans need to show up. We need to stand up to a glaring error in our responsibility to the world. We need to say why are we , only 5% of the world population, consuming 35% if all the goods consumed in the world.
We need to stand up and say this is not right. We need to scream at the top of our lungs what the hell is wrong with this picture. 6 million children die in this world everyday from starvation. That need to be addressed. That needs to end. We need to stand up and say this is not about our survival it is about the selfishness of our system. The one that hides the fact that 6 million children die of starvation while we consume 35% of everything. We need to stand up to our ignorance. We need to stand up to our obesity. We need to stand up and realize it is not about “YOU”. It is about what can you do to stop poverty. We need to stand up and say it about time to share.

My American Dream is one I trust will become global: the end and eradication of HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases. To accomplish this will require: hard work, patience, hope and most importantly: an active sense of humor (not to mention more than just a few $$$’s).
In the meantime, compassion and access to life-saving medications will be accessible to ALL who want and need them.
And there’s more…

I have a 14 and 16 year old and watch them struggle with the powerful influence
of a negative violent world..I use structure, yet must be opened to the influences
of a tech-no age. Teaching life has purpose and meaning outside of the constant
demand of self-fulfillment is becoming old fashion. I find meaning in fighting for
my family first and then my corporate ambitions, yet I am becoming the outcast.
There is no corporate penny I will take with me when I go, it is simply the legecy
of a hard fought battle that hopefully others will remember me for….a daily attempt
to set myself aside.
It’s an honor to respond

My Dream? Joy and Happiness. It matters not whether in a shack or a castle. Joy and Happiness for us creates the joy and happiness we wish for the world. One can not fight against or for anything from a position of seeing the problems. As mother Teresa once said, be the peace you wish to see. Yes there are terrible things that happen around us everyday, but there are also wonderful acts of joy, happiness, love and compassion going on. If we were all to focus on those instead of the negative the world would change over night.
We are obviously not there yet……………..but……………the journey of a thousand miles starts with just the first step.
Where are you, my dreaming friends?
Thoughts are things…………choose wisely!

My dream is that some how, some way, we learn to work together in congress as our forefathers did when this country was founded. We are so polarized now with conservatives and liberals, let alone Republicans and Democrats, that this country is coming apart at the seams and our enemies are enjoying the chaos. My dream continues in that a grass roots movement begins to take congress back from the politicians. And finally, the foundation of my dream is that this country returns once again to God as our true leader.

My American Dream…
My Dream is to see people have health, wealth and time freedom to pursue any dream that they wish. Living in Alaska many of my dreams I am living every day. Unfortunatly time freedom was not one of them. And time with my loved ones suffered the most.
Fortunatly I am learning that the old business model in America is broken and am learning how to participate in the new model that can and is creating dreams again in America, the land of dreams.
My new dream is to have the money and time freedom to do all the things that I always dreamed I would, time with family and friends, time and money to participate in missions all over the world and just plain helping others obtain thier dreams.
Thanks IBA for helping get me started on this journey, just wish it would have happened decades ago.

My life began with a doctor telling my mother shortly after I was born that I probably would never speak because I was born with a severe cleft palette. This year I turned 65 and I have been a full-time professional speaker for over 25 years.
Unlike many people with their American Dreams I have had many and fulfilled most to all of them
Became a licensed architect
won awards
became a graphics/signage designer
won awards
became a college professor
earned BS, 2 M.A.s, M.Ed. & Ph.D.
became a regular presented at several international creativity conferences
won all but one award from the Creative Education Foundation
earned the highest speaking award in the National Speakers Association and the International Federation of Professional Speakers
have traveled completely around the globe 8 times, 75 countries so far
became a published cartoonist
have had over 400 articles published
the list goes on and on
along with these Dreams have come many nightmares and horrors
death of my mother when I was only 27
death of my father when I was only 33
death of my second wife when she died in 1998
loss of several jobs
death of my first nephew from luekemia
and this list goes on and on.
I have learned two primary things
1. when you truly become passionate about something and focus on it you can generally achieve it.
2. sometimes the answer is “NO!”

My American Dream started in America, yes… a small town in Ohio. I was a shy kid and faced with alot of childhood issues. I looked at it one of two ways as an adult. I could make myself the victim or I could say… life was that, now the dream must live on.
The dream I am talking about is the one where I sat in my room most of the time as a child, writing and making up stories. Faced people who said “your not smart enough to be a writer” or ” you have no money to go to school for writing”. I had developed an attitude for whatever came along.
I had to stop listening to the negative advice and look within myself for my dream to be met.
I also wanted to create a toyline with my characters. I never knew why this was, but… sitting in a bathtub as a child I would get these images of creating things. I know it sounds funny, but it’s true.
Well, along the way I had to be quite humorous. If things didn’t work out I had to find the right attitude to continue on my path. Sometimes, I had to laugh at myself to get through the potential crying on the inside.
One thing was for sure, I wasn’t about to cave in and give up! Why should I? It’s my dream, right?
Okay… things to remember along the way (people can try to take the dream). Once you lived you realize the only one who can let that happen is you. Go to seminars, find your niche market, find friends who are like minded, find people who think outside the box.
My dream is to become a children’s book author and have my book be a best seller with one million copies sold, to have that book go to film and to most of all help people who I love the most, kids and the elderly. Also, to adopt another child, to live a life where money is no longer a struggle to make, and my husband find his dream job in animation. That is what I want along with world peace.
Thank you for hearing my dream, although I am American and now live in Canada… I still want that childhood dream.

Clarifying my dream was hard for me until Deb had us imagine when life was a 10 and everything clicked. Then I knew…
I have spent the last several years as director of Children’s Ministry; the best part of it for me was planning the big events. We would do several each year… Winter Lock-In, Easter Eggstravaganza, VBS, Night of Light (Halloween) and a Christmas party. These events made use of my best skills–creativity and organization. I am in my element when I am knee deep in paint, glue or frosting and surrounded by rugrats.
How or where or if that could transition into a career, I don’t really know…
Right now I am glad I figured out what puts a smile on my face…

My American Dream….
I dream of an organization geared towards the empowerment of all persons who have been oppressed in some way…specifically…men, women and children who are living in abusive situations and are ready to make a change for the better. Where does this all begin? I see this beginning in the classroom. I’d like to develop educational programs that teach young people how to develop a healthy self-esteem and respect which will hopefully help them make better choices and decisions with thier lives.

My dream is to help other entrepreneurs and business leaders become more conscious about how they conduct business, and how they relate to others. Business is all about relationships, and the more conscious we are about how we enter and maintain our relationships — the more effective we are in business.
I am blessed to do work I love — coaching and training businesspeople. I will expand my influence through publishing my work about Self-Responsibility which teaches how our choices and the way we make those choices and live with them impacts our lives. I have tremendous passion for helping others become more self-aware, and improving their lives by empowering themselves. Each time one of us breaks through fear, the rest of us move a bit closer to breaking through also. When we are conscious, our work becomes our play.
I look forward to dreaming with some of you out there — dreaming and playing — dreaming and playing.

Just last week at the A.A.S.C Summer Camp 2009 I was able to listen to Deb Erickson talk about overcoming the barriers other people have put in our heads of what we can and can’t do, and even barriers we have put ourselves. Things that our brain has always thought of as impossible were proven wrong on this one night. I never would have imagined that a piece of steel that’s meant to keep buildings from collapsing could bend like silly putty. Not only did she show us what our minds are capable of, but she showed us that with that power we can make any dream that may seem impossible, come true.
My dream is in some ways like Aiden’s. I want to one day become a brilliant doctor and take my knowledge out on the Mission field, heal the sick, and show them the love of Christ. One thing that I realized though is that in order for me to love others completely, I have to first love my self.
For the longest time I’ve hated my body. I’m larger than your average 16 year old, and my mind has never let me forget it. I have always looked at those girls in the mall that are size 4, 6, or 10, and wish so much that I could be that size. I would always get so angry at God for making me the size that I am, and no matter how many times one of my girlfriends or my mom would tell me that I was beautiful I wouldn’t listen. It wasn’t enough to know that a girl thought that, I wanted a guy to look at me and think “Dang she is FINE!” For the longest time that was all I could think about; finding a guy to tell me things that I wanted to hear.
Even when I did find it, it wasn’t enough.
After watching “Bring It On: All Or Nothing” one night I suddenly burst into tears, and just started hating myself. I should have been happy; I finally had a guy that told me I was beautiful and that actually cared about me. But for the life of me I couldn’t get all the doubts and worries out of my mind. That night I had to empty the dishwasher, and did so with tears streaming down my face…until I got to the silverware. I was in the midst of putting a knife away when I had a thought. That thought almost turned to action but my common sense got the better of me. I had never really considered this before, but at that moment I felt like I had to. I talked myself out of it, but I always had that thought lingering in the back of my mind.
When Ms. Erickson came to the A.A.S.C Summer camp, it forever changed how I thought about myself. Thursday night was the night that we broke down the barriers of our minds and let ourselves truly believe. This night we broke inch thick boards in half; boards that on one side had a dream of ours and on the other, one thing that kept us from our dream. For my dream I put: “To Fall in Love with myself” and the one thing that kept me from achieving it: “Self-loathing.” Hitting that board helped me to break that mental barrier that I was never going to be skinny or pretty enough.
Since then I have still struggled tremendously, but keeping that night in mind has helped me to not go back to that place of such self hatred. All of my Dreams are on their way to becoming true, and I know that it wouldn’t have been possible without the motivational poking and prodding of Ms. Deb Erickson. For that I am eternally grateful. I hope and pray that all may find their own American Dream one day!
Deb Erickson says:

My American dream is to be healthy, happy, and financially secure. I also want to be the best wife, mom, coach, and friend that I can be. I am accomplishing the healthier and happier dream with the Isagenix products as I have released 100 pounds in the past year As a result of the weight loss, my whole attitude and outlook on life has been transformed. I am able to run around with my girls, have a date night with my husband, and be spontaneous and fun again. I actually like who I am and I’m loving it!
The dream of financial security is also in the works, thanks to this new movement and the conjuction of IBA and Isagenix. I have hope that with hard work and commitment I will be a top income earner with Isagenix! This is cool, however the best part of it all is knowing that I have helped lots of people along the way both bring back and strive to achieve their American Dream.

“The American Dream” this saying has had many different meanings for many different people but for me the american dream is not being a slave to anything. 8 months ago Io was a slave to bad habits, a weight problem, and a job I hated. by having a step change within myself I have succesfully lost 120LBS and quit chewing tobacco and am now on the road to a new career one that I want not one that i hate. I am of the opinion that if you can even think it you can DAMN SURE do it.

Ms. Deb Erickson and Other Staff,
It was my privelege to recently attent A.A.S.C Summer Camp 2009, where Ms. Erickson inspired me to live up to my full potential. At her request, and after seeing what standing up for one’s beliefs can do for people, I now post my American Dream.
My dream is to take the love of Christ with me wherever I go, and to impact people with that love by being the “light of the world” and showing all that I meet that God truly cares for them. I want to start with my high school; doing random acts of humble service to show that I care, and perhaps expand my efforts to other high schools in the US. I do not know where my dream will take me – that is God’s area of expertise, not mine – but I do know one thing: if by our own strength we can bend iron, break wood, and walk on fire, how much more can we do with the strength of Him who is from Everlasting! As Paul says, “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13). God bless you all, and may He cause all of your “American Dreams” to come true!
Love in Christ,
Aidan Clevinger

My American Dream is to be able to spread kindness and love throughout the country and the world. I want to let people, especially the youth, know the power of believing in themselves. I have always wanted to work for Oprah Winfrey or be the President of the United States because of the scope of a positive impact I could bring. But my dream is also as simple as impacting local change through community service. Another part of my dream is not having to constantly worry about how I will finance my future. I know I can do so much good for this world, and I do not want money (or lack thereof) to be something that holds me back.

I am fortunate enough to live in a country where I have always been told that I can do anything I set my mind to. I have been told that anything is possible and I have the power to make all my wildest dreams come true. Sometimes, I will admit, I doubt myself and I feel as though I am unable to accomplish things. Recently, I was able to experience Deb Erickson’s “ICAN 4 Teens” program for the second time. This program truly changed my life, especially after completing it twice. Deb instilled in my mind the idea that I really can do anything. She showed me that I can break a board with my fist and tackle my greatest challenges with an “I CAN” attitude. I am now positive that I am capable of accomplishing all sorts of things. I am now confident that I will achieve my “American Dream” of bringing love into the lives of others. Someone once told me “Life is for love,” and I agree entirely. I believe love is a crucial part of human being because people need people. If I could do anything, I would spread love to everyone around me. This is my American Dream and I will strive to bring love to those I know and those I have yet to meet. To me, I will only consider myself to have lived when I have loved in all ways possible.

My American Dream is to believe again. To believe in the power of change and see it evolving. The strengthening effort of many with like minds to bring “Hope” back in the hearts of Americans. IBA has started the process for me. I made a change in my physical health and I’m working towards the freedom of financial health. Most exciting is helping the lives of others as well. It’s like passing on the baton and cheering your team to victory whatever that may be for those I share with.
My Personal Dream” is to spend time with my daughter and Grandson that live out of state whenever I want to. To spend much time with my precious husband and family along with growing my relationships with friends. To free my husband of the corporate world and give him back time to use his skills where they can be better served and deserved.
With faith and hope in someone greater than us, we together can be united by spreading an attitude of gratitude just by serving others through this journey called life. My American Dream is to do my part. How about you???

I hope to change peoples’ lives through ministry and know the people who I meet will change mine.
I want to truly find myself by discovering all the good things people say about me and BELIEVE them!
I’ve lost many family relationships but I dream of the day we will reconnect, forgive and be able to let each other know once again how much we love each other. The friends I have in my life are so precious to me and I want to do continue to do my part in sustaining them.

Most of all, I love to do watercolors and I dream that one day I will write and illustrate a children’s book. So, let’s see, if I don’t have to work for someone else, I can sit on the front porch of my beach house, be surrounded by family, coach others and illustrate my book!!! I won’t be completely satisfied until physical, financial, emotional and spiritual wellness are not only mine, but the prized possessions of those I love. The American Dream starts in the United States, but it WILL spread around the WORLD!

My American Dream is to be able to travel the world FIRST CLASS with my family and friends. I want to share my vision and passion with the world while I show those I love how anything is possible. I want to take our American Dream and share it with people throughout the world. First we build strength here at home and then we do what Americans have always done, We Change The World!!!

My American Dream is to be able to stop worrying about how I’m going to send my girls to school. They’re only 2 and 4, but the reality is continuing education costs are skyrocketing and financial assistance is plummeting. I want to provide a secure future for my family, both financially and health-wise. IBA offers both, and I am so excited to be on this journey with so many great people.

The American dream has been fought for, blood sweet, and tears have been given for the American Dream? What has happened? Where is our freedom of religion, freedom to go and come as we please? The many things that have stolen from our Dreams; are high ranking people stealing our rights from us. We can not voice our openions , if they are politicly wrong? Our tax Dollars are going to the wind with justifications. Are these people interested in our well-being?

Thank you John for sharing your passion about being an American. And thanks for your service to our country by putting your life on the line so that we can all enjoy the freedoms that you wrote about. I welcome you to our movement, and hope to hear from you again!

I have been self-employed since 1972 and have always known that I didn’t want someone else telling me what and when I could do something. My independence was important to me, however, along with that came a great deal of responsibility that was shouldered entirely upon me. When I found this team with a vision and dream that aligned with my own, I felt blessed. I feel that if we all do our part as a team that we can achieve great and monumental things in life. We all have the same purpose and that is to ‘Bring Back the American Dream.’ To join a movement that can literally take back our country is a legacy that I want to leave. If you feel the same, please join us and help us to make a difference!

My American Dream is to be a Mom. Not any mom though. I want to be a stay at home mom. To raise my kids along with my husband. To ba able to see them grow, to teach them and to be there for them. We don’t have children yet but we want something in place so when it happens we can be the stay at home parents for them and have the availability to work from home.
I also love to garden and cook and I would love to combined both hobbies into one. My husband and I love home cooked meals so this would be awesome for me to be able to this more often.
Lastly, I want to be able to travel. I love traveling but I hate the constrains of only taking so many weeks a year and when you come back it is like you never left. I would love to say while on vacation “Lets stay a little longer” and actually do it.

For my American Dream. Two of those dreams are:
1). For improved health and wellness…this has become and is continuing to be a reality for me through the wonderful products of ISAGENIX. I have more energy now than I can EVER remember in many, many years. My body has released 32 lbs. so far, which for me has been a life-long struggle. For the first time in 20 years, the scale #’s are moving down rather than UP! I’m not only releasing weight, but I now have the energy to do many activities I’ve never been able to do. Most recently I tackled a long time desire to rid my home of excess stuff I do not use or need ! This is very “freeing”! AND I’m finding I can keep up with my grandchildren’s endless energy! NOW that’s a priceless gift !
2). To build a home-based business. This has become a reality by joining the IBA team who consists of positive, influentional people who CHOOSE to offer solutions for two MAJOR crisis Americans are facing;
A). Health crisis due to increasing and alarming rates of obesity, which leads to many diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, etc. . .
B). Our country’s financial collapse and crisis. IBA team members have come along side me to inspire, encourage and equip me to share my life-changing story so that I can serve others so they too may find HOPE for their health and financial challenges.
Thank you ISAGENIX for the best nutritional producsts the world has to offer and IBA for your passion to help others make their AMERICAN DREAM come true.
May you too find HOPE & JOY in catching the vision for making your American Dream a reality through the IBA opportunity!

Aahhh. . .
The American Dream~
I am happily married. My wife and I have a baby on the way. We both have very good jobs and because of this, we pretty much are able to get what we want. Unfortunately, money cannot buy us more time together, nor will it buy us more time with our family.
To make this short and sweet, I have decided to try to build a solid income from home using the internet (for now). I have already started focusing all of my extra time to obtaining this goal.
I am starting to see a small income trickle in, but I still have a way to go. Once I can accomplish this, I will be able to spend unlimited time with my family. I know this is possible, but it is going to take some time and a lot of effort.
Thanks for making this site available to get our version of the American Dream in writing. The more that you see it, the more you are going to work to ensure that you get it!
Best of luck to you in your search for the American Dream as well!
Thanks,
Chris Jensen
